SPOILER ALERT: If you haven't watched the movie yet,
Shoo! :)
Okay, let's get back to business. I was eager to watch this movie from the time it was released in the states, I spent time online looking for a link or torrents where I can download it. And luckily, I found one (it's not a good copy, though). It was just surprising that I didn't get the story from the title. It was about Love and Drugs! How stupid am I? Hahaha. Any way, the plot of the story was back in the year 1996, when a womanizing Pfizer pitchman (Jake Gyllenhaal), falls in love with a beautiful woman (Anne Hathaway) afflicted by early onset Parkinson's. (Parkinson's disease is a degenerative disorder of the central nervous system that impairs motor skills, cognitive processes, and other functions. Learn more about the disease here.) Meanwhile, his sales start to skyrocket once his company introduces Viagra. Maggie (Anne Hathaway) and Jamie's (Jake Gyllenhaal) evolving relationship takes them both by surprise, as they find themselves under the influence of the ultimate drug:love.
I like this movie because:
1. I'm in love with Anne Hathaway
2. I like romantic/dramedy movie
3. Of the story itself (I can relate with drugs/nursing stuffs)
Here are some quotes that caught my attention and I must admit it was all true:
"Sometimes the thing you most wanted doesn't happen and sometimes the thing you never expect does."
"I don't know, You meet thousands of people and know they really touched you, and then you meet one person and your life is changed, forever."
