VOILA! finish product :)

Last night, my sister and I tried to imitate the famous barbecue recipe of our Dad, he's good at cooking, and I missed him :) Anyway, my sister is taking up Culinary Arts in Center for Culinary Arts (Interested? Click HERE.) so we want to give it a try to cook Chicken Barbecue in our own way. At first, I'm quite nervous because it might taste bad coz we just put anything we have in the kitchen for our marinade. Hahaha. We really don't have any idea what the ingredients are but in the end, it went well and it taste so damn good that my brother said "Wow! chumi-chicken teriyaki kayo ah". ☺

Wanna learn how to do it? Here's the procedure:
*Ingredients (from our kitchen)
-1 kilo Chicken
-Soy sauce
-Sprite or 7up (beer is also good)
-Onion
-Garlic
-Sugar
-Black pepper, ground
-Calamansi or lemon juice
-Rosemary

*for spread
-Oyster sauce
-Sweet chili sauce
-Honey

*3 simple steps:
1. Marinate the deboned chicken in soy sauce, calamansi juice, minced garlic, chopped onions, soda, sugar, rosemary and pepper for 30mins. (the longer the time, the tastier it will be)

2. Cook chicken on low-fire grill pan until golden brown

3. Spread the sauce on chicken before getting it from the heat, cook it for 2mins each side

Cooking tip:
-To check if the meat is cooked, slice a small piece of meat off and if there are no juice running off the meat and there no reddish (blood) areas on the inside of the meat, the chicken is cooked.

Xoxo ♥
