I actually learned this movie from a friend, Alyssa and I automatically loved the trailer. I researched about it and found out that it is based from a novel by Emily Griffin. Two days ago, I was with my friends for some movie marathon, I was shocked coz they've got a good copy of Something Borrowed that I've been dying to have one. I checked online every now and then if there's already DVD copy via torrent, too bad there's none. I insisted that we should watch it first among the DVDs they have cause I'm all psyched about it! And of course, we all loved the movie although we're all caught up hanging because the ending doesn't give justice on how the story goes. Apparently, I love reading e-books, I looked over the internet if I can get a .pdf file of the book and after a month or two, I found one! I read the book for 2 days only and I already got a copy of Something Blue (Darcy's perspective) will blog about it as soon as I'm done reading it. :)
About the book:
Something Borrowed tells the story of Rachel, a young attorney living and working in Manhattan. Rachel has always been the consummate good girl---until her thirtieth birthday, when her best friend, Darcy, throws her a party. That night, after too many drinks, Rachel ends up in bed with Darcy's fiancé.
Although she wakes up determined to put the one-night fling behind her, Rachel is horrified to discover that she has genuine feelings for the one guy she should run from. As the September wedding date nears, Rachel knows she has to make a choice. In doing so, she discovers that the lines between right and wrong can be blurry, endings aren't always neat, and sometimes you have to risk all to win true happiness. Something Borrowed is a phenomenal debut novel that will have you laughing, crying, and calling your best friend. - Emily Griffin
Here's our favorite part of the movie. We got LSS to this song the whole night! HAHAHA!
